Buddyiconarchive is a non-commercial archive project preserving over 500,000 AOL Instant Messenger buddy icons. The collection is browseable and downloadable with single-click access. The project began as a personal need for a few icons and expanded into an ongoing effort to create a comprehensive historical record of AIM buddy icons from across the internet.
